I think it’s been well-established that AdRizer is not your average Ad-Tech company.
From skateboarding around Downtown SRQ with co-workers to getting to have a paid lunch, AdRizer is committed to defying normalcy, so why would it be any different when it comes to our company-wide communication? Sure, any normal person could just talk to the person sitting next to you all day, but how much MORE fun would it be to chat online with your co-workers all day? This brings us to Slack.
Slack is the all-in-one productive workspace chat system that allows you to talk with co-workers across the room in a quiet, non-invasive manner.
With Slack, it’s easy to type up your reply and get onto the next thing, instead of spending time walking to and from your co-worker’s desk multiple times a day each time you have a question or need to discuss something.
Although Slack is mainly for work use, we can’t help but get into some in-house competition with our infamous Photoshop Battles and gif-offs (the pronunciation of the word “gif” is still a massive sore spot in the office). Even when the whole office is goofing off during one of these silly battles, there’s no time lost, because we’re all bonding and getting to know one another in an informal situation, which will only aid in work-related endeavors down the road. As someone who is the newest member of the AdRizer team, I can wholeheartedly say that it’s those silly times that have helped me to feel more acquainted with my co-workers and helped me learn the “AdRizer way.”
If you’re a small (or large) business looking to implement a way for your employees to not only get to know one another, but to get them to work more collaboratively, Slack is 100% the way to go! I don’t think I could get through this job without the ease and accessibility that Slack provides for our team.
